Foreign Minister Steinmeier on the death of Walter Scheel “I AM KARACHI” is a citywide movement that aims to collectively rebuild the diverse social and cultural fabric of the city.
The graphic novel was launched on 26 January 2017 during the opening of an exhibition presenting the original artwork. Conrad Schetter, University of Bonn, spoke on 13 December at the Pakistan Institute of International Affairs on "the German Perspective on Pakistan and its Neighbors". Schetter, who has been traveling in and working on Pakistan for many years, had also very interesting interactions with fellow scholars at Karachi University and the Centre for Journalism at IBA. Masuma Hassan moderated the session in the very balanced way she is known for.
