Paul Medved, a project manager for the Warm Springs/South Fremont station, told The Argus in August that final work and testing would take place through September, and the station should open four to six weeks after that. So too was this week’s report by the San Francisco Business Times, which quoted another BART director, Thomas Blalock, as saying the station will open between now and the week before the Nov. Mc Arthur told the Argus this week the only official statement is that there is no date, and the agency will inform the public as soon as one is chosen.
But BART’s project spokeswoman, Molly Mc Arthur, subsequently told The Argus the station will open before November, although she couldn’t provide a date. 16, in response to another query about an opening date, another agency spokesperson, Chris Filippi, said BART hoped to make an announcement soon.
