He was loved by many of his students who affectionately called him “Mr.
K.” He lived “zen,” embracing life as it came, content with little, grateful and able to be in the present moment.
Frank and Ann married in 1963 in Hinton, Alberta, where Frank taught high school for almost 20 years.

Mom will be fondly remembered by family in the Goderich, Clinton and Blyth area. Darrin Keith Zinger was born June 20, 1964, the son of Keith and Susan Zinger in Vancouver, BC.
Nola was the loving wife of the late Earl Gordon Craig (1999) and amazing Mom to Brad (Annette) of Coquitlam, B. We would like to say a very heartfelt thank you to the wonderful people at Fiddick’s Nursing Home in Petrolia who took care of Mom with such compassion, kindness and love. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. His early years were spent running around and creating havoc in Kitsilano.

They moved to Calgary together late 2000 and later married in Lake Louise, Alberta Aug 26th, 2001.
It was during these early years in Europe that Darrin met his first wife Katina and consequently his first child Abby Zinger was born in 1991. During his years in England Darrin was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer in his late 20’s.
He received treatment and became a cancer survivor.It is with bittersweet sadness that we must share with all those who knew and loved him that our dad, Frank Kiyooka, passed away on Wednesday, September 6th, 2017.We are so thankful he did not suffer and that he is now home with his beloved Ann.He did of course and his first posting was to Osoyoos, BC.He and Clarissa had decided to return to Vancouver and this posting got them halfway there.This brush with cancer gave him a new perspective on life.
